Many of the students who attend Kulin District High School live outside town and catch one of the seven buses which service the school. Parents of new students who require access to the bus service need to complete an “Application for Transport Assistance” form online through School Bus Services on www.schoolbuses.wa.gov.au. Follow the prompts from the “Parents” section to access the following functions: Application for Transport Assistance, Conveyance Claim, Change of Circumstance, Changes to Family Details, and Changes to Individual Student Details.
Parents are responsible for contacting drivers when their child/children will/will not be travelling on buses. Where unregistered passengers wish to travel on a bus, a permission slip must be completed. These are available from the school and will be circulated in Term 1 of each year.
At the end of a school day, students are to line up on the quadrangle with their bus monitor. Names must be checked off a bus list before students are allowed to board the bus.
NB: Between the times of 8.30am – 9.30am and 3.00pm – 3.30pm no vehicles, except school buses, are allowed to park on the school side of Gordon Street.
The speed limit is 40 km/hr between the hours of 7:30 – 9:00am and 2:30 – 4:00 pm.
